She didn't learn this from me

T'was the night before Christmas

And all around the land,
We celebrated with family.
What a great time we had!

The angel on Grandma's tree flew away, so I figured I'd take her place
Merry Christmas Eve!

Special thanks to Nana for making our Christmas Eve dresses - Mommy couldn't wait to get us in matching outfits!
Thank you for our matching Christmas Eve pajamas, Grandma! Aren't we cute?
Hold still, Daddy - this will only hurt for a second
Daddy's girls
Christmas Eve pajamas for all the good-looking girls!
The good-looking boys even got pjs...just don't ask what they're doing here
Merry Christmas Eve from the kiddies (ignore Andy groping his beloved)
Thanks for my middle name Aunt Katie
So Uncle Shaun & Aunt Lindsay, you think you want babies of your own, huh?

With a moo moo here

Shawna...this outfit is for you!

My tail is a little stubby
Who'd want to eat this skinny little steak?
All this modeling is making me sleepy
Aaaand I'm spent

Cookie cuties

What would Christmas be without gingerbread men cookies?
And what would baking be without your best midget sidekick?

Little Miss Martha Midget
Daddy, you do the frosting and I'll handle (aka eat) the MnMs.
A little extra frosting for the road
Ta da! My finished product - they're almost too pretty to eat.
Almost.

Winter wonderland

Our day started at 24 degrees with freezing fog. Sure it may be dangerous, but it also makes for beautiful scenery. Check it out:

Finally 12:30 rolled around, the temperature gauge read 30 degrees and we quickly turned into a winter wonderland. All I can say is...

Let it snow
Let it snow
Let it snow

This calls for some hot chocolate and marshmallows. Don't you think?

Did we have twins...

...only 23 months and 17 days apart?

Ashley - 5 days old
Natalie - 19 days old

Orange and black attack

Even though the OSU Beavers didn't look good at their bowl appearance, Ashley and I still did.

Beaver believers
I gotta lean through the corner so Aunt Katie doesn't tip me over
Thanks for my shirt Uncle Isaiah and Robyn - it goes really well with the frosting all over my face don't you think?

Special thanks

A very special thank you to my good friend Adrianne for creating such a beautiful birth announcement for Natalie.
Adrianne is also responsible for our adorable Christmas card. She has such talent!
Another special thank you to my little sister Shawna for the beautiful and priceless baby book she bought for Natalie. Shawna knows me too well; the baby book is both vintage and a pop-up, two of my favorite things! I love you, Shawna.
Thank you to both of these special people. We'll cherish your gifts forever.

730 days

In case you don't want to do the math, that's 2 candles on the birthday cake.
Two. Not one, but two. How on earth did we become the parents of a two year old? Not to mention the parents of TWO. Yowsa.
Ashley had a wonderful time at her birthday party. Not only because she was spoiled rotten with yards and yards of presents, but because she got to eat anything and everything she wanted. Her aunts never pass on the opportunity to stuff her full of sugar!
We want to say thank you to everyone for being so generous. Seriously. It makes my head spin just thinking about how many people love and care about our family. We are so blessed to be surrounded by so much love. Thank you, all.

Sneaking a bite of a white chocolate bubble...but what the pictures doesn't show is me shoving the 1/2 eaten bubble back into the cake when I was done
Happy Birthday To Me!
Time to dig into the presents
Who's going to be the first to get it?
Present madness
Happy birthday to yoooooou!
And I even blew out my own candles!
Bouncy time with Aunt Lindsay
Bouncy! Bouncy! Bouncy! My new favorite game!
It's so much fun even Aunt Lindsay had to get in on the action. Mommy's too chicken to try...
Uncle Isaiah's always good for fun and games
Look at my perfect daddy, mommy and little baby sister
I needed a bit more frosting before bedtime. Good thing Aunt Katie was around to show me the proper way to enjoy it.
