MOPS Mother's Day Tea - Christmas edition

Back in May I had the pleasure of hosting a table at the MOPS Mother's Day Tea (my 3rd year to participate). This year I pulled out all the stops and went with my Christmas-themed Spode tableware.
And even matched with my snazzy Christmas sweater.
Oh yeah. To say I was excited is an understatement.
Thanks to my awesome family that came and sat at my table and enjoyed an afternoon of celebrating motherhood: Mom, Kathy, Lindsey, Katie, Jean, Marilyn and Kelly. I had a great time and am thankful for each of you.
And PS....I'm already looking forward to hosting a table next year with another great theme!

This gal is pretty excited to debut her Christmas table
A different twist on Frosty; I made this cheese-spread delight and he was *almost* too cute to eat
Pretty proud of the mint-candy topiary I made
Christmas hostess with the mostess
Thanks to Mom for helping me create the candy cane place card holders
What's even better than having Kelly at your table? It means the ever-handsome Isaiah comes, too!

Easter bunnies

Here's a looksie-lou of our Easter. Let me just say here and now THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to Kathy for making (by hand!) such lovely, beautiful and precious Easter dresses. It's something your granddaughters will cherish for the rest of their lives. You are appreciated and loved!

Beautiful Ashley
Cutie Natty
Squirrely Keely Q
One of these days I'll get Pip to smile for the camera! Mark.my.words!
Keely's perfecting the Stink Eye
Family! My greatest thing.
Beautiful centerpiece, Kathy
And now a pile of pictures that shows just how difficult it is to get even one nice picture...
...because instead of smiling they do this....
...and this...
....and occasionally some of this....
...and just when you think you're close, Keely steels Wy's hat and runs into the slide...
...then Natty gets tired and isn't afraid to show it....
...meanwhile Pip is inspecting Ashley's scars...
...and gives them her gentle and loving kisses...
...while Vivienne plays with her dress...
...and EVENTUALLY, if you're lucky, you get a shot where you can see all the faces, even if they aren't all smiling.
Cousins!

Looking good, Grants!
The whole family!

Proud wife moment

All of the hours spent making phone calls, designing and fabricating, stressing and working. All of the hours spent away from the family. All of the hours he selflessly gives to being the provider, the husband and the father. All of those hours are easily forgotten when customers sing praises of Jake's incredible work.
My dear husband, you are amazing.
A force to be reckoned with.
And I love you for this, and so much more.
