Tuesday tidbits

Jake: I'm probably the strongest person you know, Ashley.
Ashley: Uh huh.
Jake: Who do you know that's stronger than Daddy?
Ashley: ***thinking...thinking...thinking...*** UNCLE ISAIAH!
Jake: ***speechless***

Note to self...

...when Ashley, Photographer Extraordinaire, claims she would "like to capture a few shots", she's not kidding. She really is shutter happy, much like her mama.
Love. Laugh. Photograph.
Not a bad way to live.

And they just keep...
...getting...
...better.

Colorful Natalie

Enjoy a short video of Natalie "reading" her colors book. I love that she recognizes her colors, but what I love more is the adorable way she says them!

Spring cleaning

At our house spring cleaning isn't limited to just the windows and closets.
Consider yourself warned.

Counting sheep

It's been a while now, but last month I loaded the girls up for a trip to the OSU Sheep Barns. Personally I'm not a fan of sheep: unintelligent, smelly, icky-tasting things. However, I am a fan of baby lambs; the way they bound around, all fluffy and white, with those little pink noses. What's not to love?
The girls certainly enjoyed their little mutton lesson and asked countless times to take one home. At one point Natalie got perturbed when she learned she could not, in fact, hold a lamb in her lap. I guarantee if she could have gotten her grubby little hands on one, she would have taken off for the hills, where she would have happily lived out her days much in the same manner as Heidi.
Nice try, Natty Kat, but no dice. It's a good thing that story has already been written.

Here sheepy, sheepy. Come to mama!
PS Have you ever seen a more adorable coat? My little peacock!
I'm slightly obsessed with how adorable the mini's bottoms are
Seriously contemplating how she can smuggle one out
Yes, you're seeing that correctly. That would be Natty Kat making a break for it. Too bad she doesn't realize that's the entrance to the squeeze-chute. Better drop trou, Natty, it's time to get wormed.
Love these 2
A set of twinners that were born a few hours before we arrived
Mama ewe and her little lambies
Naturally after the sheep barns it was time for ice cream - around our place it's always ice cream time
Come to me my sweet little friend!
There's only 1 way to enjoy ice cream, and that's when it's smeared all over your face
Ash has the BEST freckles this side of the Mississippi - check out my fave one just on the tip of her little button nose
Keeping her eyes on Nana to make sure she doesn't try to steal a lickWho knows what tickled Ashley so much?
Hey, Tissy! Don't forget your favorite little sister!
Sharing is caring!
Another successful afternoon of wearing the minis out

Wordless Wednesday

Look closely and you'll notice not 1 mini, but 2.

All it takes...

...is Midget's thoughtfulness to brighten my day!
(Let's just forget the fact that they're actually stolen from some unknown's property because, after-all, it's the thought that counts.)
