A mother's love

Yesterday I had the great joy of celebrating my second ever Mother's Day. Is it crazy that still, after nearly 16 months, I'm sometimes caught off-guard being called 'Momma'? Sooner or later I'm going to have to get used to it, right? I'd like to say thank you to Ashley for being so easy to love and a very special thank you to Jake for working hard to be the most wonderful father, husband and best friend. My love for the two of you is deeper than the deepest ocean and brighter than the night sky. And to my mom and mother-in-law: thank you so very much for showing me, on a daily basis, how deep a mother's love runs. A very happy Mother's Day to all of my family and friends (you know who you are!).
