My Declaration of Independence

Although we celebrate the Declaration of Independence on July 4, it was originally signed today, July 2, and not fully adopted by Congress until the close of the day on the 4th. Regardless, it's always a fun time in America as we celebrate with picnics, parades, fireworks and flags. So do like Ashley's doing and put on your best stars and stripes and start the party early. Walk proud as we celebrate 233 years of independence from Great Britain. Because had our forefathers not risked life and limb to ensure our freedoms, it's very possible that today we'd be speaking with a funny accent, eating head cheese, driving on the wrong side of the road and saying funny things like "Ello govnuh" and "See ya in a fortnight."
