Firecrackers & fun times
We spent Independence Day in Bellingham, WA at Lindsay and Shaun's new house. Kathy, Danny, Katie and Andy were already there; the girls, Jake and I were the last to the party. The girls didn't sleep the greatest the night before, so the morning was off to a bit of a groggy start, but eventually we all got into the spirit of the day. It was a bit chilly, but we made the best of it with hamburgers, hot dogs, ice cream with strawberries and fireworks; all the necessities of the 4th of July!
Starting the (early!) morning off, crashing Mommy and Daddy's bed, watching my favorite movie Cars Another year, another chance to wear my classic 'Jake's Fireworks' shirt Loving my crazy firecracker! Our mini-sparkler Celebrating our independence - all but Natty who is getting the choker-hold from Big Sister Ash My little stars & stripes Sporting Big Sister's bib that Grandma Marilyn bought her 2 years ago Bundled up and hitching a ride to the playground for a little post-party swing and slide action Heeeey! Hold on Natty! Swooooosh King Of the Mountain Runnin' through the tubes with Aunt Lindsay and Tex What the? But wait....it gets better... SHAZAM! Weeee! Go Daddy, go! Auntie sandwich A family that slides together Arms up high - weeee! Show me the way home, Daddy Smile, Natty! Snap! Crackle! Pop! I love Ashley's initial reaction to the sparkler - cover her mouth and huge saucer-eyes Ooh! Pritty! Ooh a prittyparkler Aunt Windsee Celebrate! Love you, Mommy Love you, Ashley
We met in 2001 and became husband and wife just 3 years later. Owners of Irate Diesel Performance, Jake is busy building a successful business and Riane is a proud Stay-At-Home Mom. Ashley kicked off our Triple Crown in December 2007. Natalie became our second in the series in December 2009. And Keely became our third jewel in the crown in September 2012. We're living the dream, surrounded by craziness and love.
