Still chilling in P-Town

On our third day in Emanuel we pretty much just hung out and did our best to relax. It wasn't easy at times as we watched Keely turning more and more yellow and the thought of photo-therapy lingered in the back of my mind. I think her jaundice levels were checked about 4 times throughout the day (no heal-sticks, they have a new and improved light-saber way of checking them these days) and each time we were told she was still alright, even though the level was high.
Marilyn and Jack visited and got to meet and cuddle Keely for the first time. It was nice seeing them. Jake went to dinner that night with his friend Brian, but he chose not to visit the room as he had been sick the week before and he was kind (and smart!) enough to not share his germs. Shawna also came to visit and hang out. Later that evening she and Jake hit the road, Voodoo Doughnuts bound. I had pretty much depleted the supply from the night before (and I'm not sorry about it!) and Shawna was jonesin' for something sweet (guess she wasn't getting enough of that from Keely Q!).

Great grand-baby #5
I need to dig through my pictures; I'm certain I have a very similar shot from when Ashley was born, and then another from Natalie
Yum! Yum! Yum!! So excited to have Kathy's tasty cut-out cookies complete with the letter K!
Getting a bit more yellow as the day goes on
It's alright, we agree, she looks a sorta goofy in this one
Gotta get my love and cuddle time in, even if it means I have to take the picture myself!
Who doesn't love brand-new-baby-feet?
Apparently she's had a long, tough day?
The lips! The nose! The chin! The cheeks! I just can't get enough.
Daytime view from our room. Because the OB recovery wing was shut down due to construction on the new ICU, we got the penthouse suite at the new (not even opened!) children's hospital.
Downton Portland through the smoke and haze brought to us by the wildfires both in Washington and Central Oregon
Love the city-scape view, but never ever enough to actually live where I had one every single day
