Today's brought to you by....

....G-Unit!
This week Ashley learned all about the letter G. She made a paper guitar, painted green and purple grapes and even made her own groundhog.
It's been ggggggreat!
For sharing she has her autograph book from Disneyland filled with pictures and signatures of Goofy, Gideon and Geppetto. Ashley also begged me to take in a little Goofy figurine. Technically she's only allowed 1 thing, but I caved and let her take it anyhow.
Rule breakers!
Midget tried hard to sneak in a Grumpy (think Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs) figurine, but I caught her and put the kabosh on it.
See. I'm capable of standing my ground.

Which one is goofier?
 Living the dream!

Natty Kat turns 3!

Natty's birthday was jam-packed full of fun stuff. I truly believe birthdays should be a super celebration, so naturally I'm going to use the girls special day as an excuse to have nothing but fun!
The morning brought presents from Jake and I. After Ash got out of school we headed down to Kathy and Danny's for the girls joint birthday present. After that it was off to Imagine Play for more celebration with Nana and Papa, Happy Meal lunches, playtime and even more presents. That afternoon we headed to the carousel and then finished Natty Day off by having dinner at Red Robin (her choice) and getting the last of her presents.
The day was seriously packed full and I think we all fell into bed that night fully exhausted.
I consider that a birthday success!

No time for pictures, gotta start tearing paper!
What is it?
Checking out her new doll house
Birthday card from Grandma and Grandpa - little does she know that the picture on her card is actually a hint of whats to come!
And visual contact has been made on Tiara!
Tiara came complete with a pink bow
Feeding her new toy "Welcome To the Family" carrots
Midget's turn to get to know the latest addition to the family
Having a blasty blast!
If you're going to share a birthday present, may as well make it a pony!
What little girl doesn't dream of a pony for her birthday?!
Lunchtime at Imagine Play means more presents!
Birthday girl is not thrilled to slow down for pictures
My perfect little trio
Zipping down the slide
Cutting firewood at the campsite
Is that Paul Bunyan?
Taking a try at PVC fort building with Papa
Weenie and marshmallow roast - tasty
I'm always thankful when someone grabs my camera and gets a shot of me
Funny thing is that even when Ashley was over building forts and moved onto another play station, Papa kept right on building...
...but it wasn't long until the call of the engineer got to me and I had to get in and play, too
Bouncy, bouncy, bouncy, bouncy...
...fun, fun, fun, fun, fun!
Next up in Natty's birthday celebration the Salem Carousel!
Birthday girl picked a zebra as her first ride
So excited Aunt Katie, WyWy and Grandma came along!
Taking a spin with my Midget
Ash only likes the horses that stay put and don't go up and down
Cheese!
I convinced her to sit on a full-size horse that is stationary. Even though she fought me every step of the way, in the end Midget had fun (which means I win!).
This is what happens when Aunt Katie convinces Ashley and Natalie to make crazy faces for a self portrait to post on Facebook. Good news is that I was close by with my camera and captured the entire thing!
Dinnertime! Such an eventful day made for a very hungry crew! Ambie and Uncle Isaiah even joined us!
And even more presents!
Getting my birthday kisses in while I can

Bridal shower fun

Back in December Monica, Katrina and Heather, Sissie's 3 bridesmaids and her best buddies, threw her a Masonic bridal shower. It was a lot of fun to just show up and enjoy the festivities without having to lift a finger. :)
Poor Shawna had to work so it was up to me to represent the MOH's, which meant I had to kick my E-MOH status into overdrive.
E-MOH you ask? Enos, Matron of Honor. Not to be confused with my counterpart T-MOH: Tagler, Maid of Honor.
A pair you don't want to mess with. I promise.

Playing the TP wedding dress game, Ash was our ringer model
You can try, Mom, but nobody will be as cute as my Midget
Getting a snappy headpiece
Heather, Monica and Sissie always happy to Keely kuddle
Our finished masterpiece; I even made her a beautiful necklace and bouquet
I'd look like that too if I had a giant bow on my head
Taa-daaaaa!
Our model was a bit too wiggly for a TP dress; it wasn't long before Midget started to molt
The big winner! Ash won an adorable Minnie Mouse toy
Mama and Keely
PS I experimented with hot rollers and THAT was the result. My hair was all sorts of jacked to Jesus.
Cheeeese! And no, even though we didn't coordinate colors, we still managed to match.

According to Ash

Best thing Ashley said this weekend:
(while watching the golf match on TV the announcer said "Next up, Tiger Woods" and showed him prepping for his shot)
Ashley: What? That brown man isn't a tiger?

Whatever, Mommy

Why is it when I play whatever pretend/ made-up game Ashley and Natalie are playing and I make a suggestion they look at me like I'm a crazy person? You wouldn't believe the stuff they come up with, but the second I try and pretend something I'm told "Now Mommy, that just doesn't make any sense at all."?
It's as if I'm not welcome in their land of make-believe.

The great hunt

A few days after Thanksgiving it was time to bundle ourselves up and head out to the tree farm in search of our 2012 Christmas tree. Jake found a new tree farm to go to this year that included hot cocoa, tractor rides and cookies.
How can you go wrong?
It turned out to be a roaring success! We will definitely be back next year! The girls are already looking forward to it.

Elf hat? Check. Santa shirt? Check. Locked and loaded. Check.
Under all those layers Keely is snoozing away
Gotta have some hot cocoa beforehand
Aunt Lindsay, Cousin Pippin, Aunt Katie, Cousin Wyatt and Midget all happy and ready to HUNT!
Photobombed by Grandpa!
Hey Wyatt? Over here!
Smile
There are no words
Photobombed by Shaun
Love my  Midget
Pip's ready for some tree fun!
Not sure whats up with Natty's face?
Here's the tree Natty Kat picked out; a wee little thing that would have had Charlie Brown excited
Eureka! We found our tree!!
Headed back to catch a ride on the tractor
Get to work, Ben!!
Elf Ash
Choo Choo Wyatt!
Love the fun these kiddos have together
Even Pip took a turn conducting the train
Bromance
Later that evening I made the girls their own (felt) Christmas trees and ornaments so they could decorate their own and leave mine be
Even Keely Q got in the decorating spirit!
