Yesterday morning Natalie had her follow-up appointment to get her heart murmur checked. I was anxious to hear what our pediatrician had to say and was thankful that we didn't have to wait more than 2 minutes in the waiting room. After a quick weigh-in (10 lbs 9 ounces!), the pediatrician popped in and got right to work listening to her heart. And guess what? It sounded great!
HALLELUJAH!
In fact, the pediatrician had a hard time evening detecting the murmur and said had he not been specifically looking for it, it would have been missed. Words cannot even describe the joy and relief I felt. And as if that wasn't fabulous enough news, the pediatrician topped the cake by declaring Natalie's coloring perfectly pink and healthy.
A smart heart AND no more jaundice; how could I not jump for joy?!
PS Thank you to everyone who kindly offered words of support and prayers. We appreciate each and every one. Also, thanks to Kathy and Danny for watching Ashley yesterday morning during Natalie's appointment.
