Ash conquers the dentist!

Thanks to liquid kiddie Valium, Ash made it through her first of a few trips to the dentist to work on her cavities.
Yes, she's got cavities. Poor Midget inherited my enamel hypoplasia (or a word close to that) which basically means her enamel is weak, malformed and not what it should be. That means weak teeth and cavities. Blah.
An hour before the dental work began Ash got a good dose of the good stuff and it wasn't long before she was a giant, mushy puddle slipping and sliding off of my lap. Boy was she entertaining! At one point she started pretending she was eating. I asked what was up and she replied "I'm eating gingerbread men. They were in my pocket. I brought them from home." I got a small video of her (click here). The funniest part is a second 38 where she just lets her head roll to the side. She was loosey goosey for a good part of the morning, but between that and the laughing gas, she was so calm and relaxed. By far the easiest appointment we've ever had.
I LOVED IT.

15 minutes into the drugs and the fun is just starting
Leaned back, special sunglasses on, laughing gas flowing and not even a peep from Ash
So thankful for modern medicine and gentle, kid-friendly docs
Like a bawss
So proud of her 2 "Silver Star Teeth" - the 2 on the right. The darkie on the left? That's thanks to poor, weak and malformed enamel.
The car ride home was full of blank stares like this one even though the snow was falling outside
Even though I tried and tried, Ash chewed her lip into hamburger from the numbing meds. That's gonna hurt once the meds wear off!
