First on the agenda was a hair appointment for me; since we'd be out and about all day celebrating, and because I had recently chopped most of it off, I opted to let someone else corral it for me. Afterwards it was getting dolled up and traveling to the bride and groom's hotel where we would meet up with friends and catch the shuttle to City Hall where the ceremony would take place. Once the ceremony concluded, we were treated to an incredible cocktail hour complete with plenty of foods I'd never ventured out to taste before.
Side note about the food....once learning of the menu for the afternoon, I promised myself I'd try it all (as long as it was allergen free). Duck (prepared 2 different ways), caviar, lobster (had it once before but didn't enjoy it), jelly fish, crab (again, had it before but never enjoyed it) and various other delicacies.
Once the cocktail hour concluded at City Hall, we had a few hours to relax before the reception took place across town. Martin and Julie were kind enough to let us chill in their hotel room and I even caught a quick catnap. After nap time, we hopped a shuttle to the reception and immediately we were amazed at the facility, decor, entertainment and food. Such a feast! The fun still wasn't over; after the reception we caught another shuttle to a nightclub where we danced and drank a bit more.
All-in-all it was a very full, very incredible, very memorable day. Congratulations to Brian and Mun Li on a beautiful ceremony. Thank you for including us in your day and for providing us with everlasting memories!

The groom's grandfather - such a kind and giving gentleman. So blessed to have had the chance to meet him. I cannot remember his name because I was simply introduced to him as 'Grandpa'. When we left his house he *insisted* we take a bucket of plums fresh from his plum trees. So delicious. So honored to have made his acquaintance.
