A birthday party for TyTy

Off topic but....I just realized as I started this post that Ash and Natty have a thing for nicknames. Cousin Wyatt is WyWy to them. Just like they refer to Cousin Ty as TyTy. RayRay is actually Uncle Ray. And Sissie is Amberger/Auntie A.

I almost feel cheated since I'm just Mommy. 

Now onto the reason for this post.....

Back in August we spent the afternoon at the river and helped Ty celebrate his 4th birthday. Hard to believe he's 4! I totally remember his dad at that age. And what a relief it is to say Ty's MUCH more mellow than Casey EVER was! I think by this age Casey had already swallowed my diamond earring (a Christmas gift I was given about 12 hours earlier), climbed onto the roof of his house and pulled a handful of hair out of my head.

Man, Casey. You left your son BIG shoes to fill.

I think the best part of the party was when a guy I went to high school with walked up to Shawna and thought she was me. I sure did enjoy watching that unfold. We didn't set out to mess with him, but it ended up happening that way. Pure entertainment!

Ty's party was great! Food was excellent. And the cake? Well you'll see for yourself.
