A day with the circus

Back in May we celebrated Ashley's last day of school by starting out the morning watching the circus raise the big tent right here in our very own town, and we ended the day by taming the circus.

Otherwise known as 5 year old preschoolers 'graduating' and celebrating, together.

It was a fun-filled, albeit exhausting, day! 

We got to meet up with the girls besties and watch the fun unfold

Quite the gathering

You know you live in Small Town, USA when your entire elementary school, including staff, and even some parents, all fit on a small stand of bleachers

Because I walked over with my girls and not the school, we got to sneak behind the scenes after the others left and see some of the top performers up close...
