Chomp chomp!

Natalie finally popped through 2 new teeth; upper middles. So that makes tooth #3 and #4 - yippie!!!

A great start

Starting my day with these two beauties is all I need!

Christmas Take 2

After Christmas morning at home, the fun and excitement continued at Mom and Dad's house. I hate to admit it, but it would seem that Santa left more for the girls at Nana and Papa's house then he did at their very own. I'm not certain, but I think Nana, Papa and Auntie A all had something to do with that. I should have taken a picture of our car; the entire back end was full of boxes, toys, clothes and Christmas goodies!
Over-all a pretty good haul. Ha ha ha!

Looks like Santa left us stuff here too, Natty Kat
My new Ashley doll
Loving on my new Natalie doll
Doing my crazy face with Papa
Taking a seat on one of my many presents
Santa left Mommy a leopard-print mop under the tree; I'm taking it for a test-drive
A princess tea set - yay!
My very own leopard-print broom so I can leave Mommy's alone
My turn to try it out!
Checking out the new kitchen toys

Apparently Santa didn't realize there'd be some assembly required

That's the "Wow! Those are some shiny diamonds!" look
Cheese!
Munching on Christmas cookies
Even with all of those new gifts in the other room, I still prefer these old enamel bowls
Loving on Nana's Raggedy Anne - shh! Don't tell.
Stocking time - Mommy's favorite!
We got so many books we could open our own library!
A leopard-print travel mug - awesome!
Love you Auntie A - thanks for spoiling us!
Another shot with Nana
What's Christmas without a group shot in front of the tree?

Christmas Take 1

Christmas morning at our house was wild and crazy, full of flying wrapping paper and bows, lots of laughter and giggles and best of all, 2 of the world's most adorable girlies!
Jake and I had *such an amazing time* watching Ashley and Natalie tear through the presents and play with their new toys. There is nothing on earth as wonderful as experiencing Christmastime with children. They bring an energy and charisma that cannot be masked or copied!

Checking to see what Santa left under the tree for me
"Ooh Mommy! Blocks! I like these!!!"
The protocol seemed to be 1. Ashley/Natalie opens a gift 2. They hand it to Jake to unwrap/set up/etc. 3. Ashley/Natalie takes off for another gift to tear open 4. Repeat steps 1 through 3
Stocking time!
Munching on candy canes
Taking in all the craziness
"Ooh! A new princess toothbrush! I like this. It's so pretty!"
Total chaos erupted and the living room looked like this in merely 10 minutes - that's a record!
New 'DDDs' (AKA DVDs) from Aunt Shawna
"These my candy canes, Mommy"
Christmas is F-U-N
Time to relax for a minute, watch one of my new movies, and let Daddy & Mommy fix us breakfast
I love it when this toy shakes and vibrates - makes me giggle! Thanks Aunt Pam!
Hey!
All Mommy wanted was a picture of her girls in front of the tree, dressed in their new Christmas dresses. Not.gonna.happen.
Family shot before we hop in the car for Christmas Take 2 & 3

Midget & Spunky had more gifts than space!
PS I get a bit carried away with pictures and feel the need to share a lot so get comfy! But when you're family looks this good, how can you not share? :)

Snuggling in with a good book and a great aunt
After the girls went to bed it was time for Santa to get to work filling stockings and preparing the tree (and yes that book does say 'Who Pooped In the Black Hills?' - a gift from Aunt Shawna)
Poor Riley was exhausted
Prepped and ready
A good reminder as I drug my tired bones up the stairs
