That's how many times I've been at our pediatricians office.
That's nearly as many visits in the last 7 weeks as we've had in the last 12 months.
I.HATE.COLD.SEASON.
After having a runny nose, turn green gooey nose, turn hacking cough, and being awake 3 to 4 times per night for the last 5 nights, I called this morning and made Natalie an appointment to be seen. I felt confident that she didn't have an ear infection, but we knew something wasn't right.
Turns out we were right! I love it when that happens.
Diagnosis? Bronchitis (well so says Aunt Angie, Dr Know-It-All). Our pediatrician just said "fluid and nasty gunk in her right lung, left lung sounds pretty good" (a great description for bronchitis if you ask me! Ha ha!). That means a 3-day azithromycin prescription, lots of love and cuddling and plenty of prayers that she's feeling better quick. We need our sleep!!!
How's this....Ashley had bronchitis (and a double ear-infection) on her 1st birthday. Is this like a Enos-baby first-birthday tradition?!
And now I'll leave you with a few pictures of our little sicky.
Getting some pretty adorable blonde curls - I'm told Daddy had hair like this at my age
