South Dakota - can't get enough!

Still working on getting through all of the South Dakota pictures. Below are shots from day #4.
Shawna surprised us with a trip to the salon for pedis while Jessica sat close by and got a new do. Afterward we cruised around downtown Rapid City, enjoying the art in Art Alley and checking out all of the great little shops. It was pretty dang cold, so we were all happy when dinnertime rolled around. We headed to Pirates Table, which is owned by Shaun's family, and chowed on yummy food. Sorry folks, no seafood for me. I'd rather not take my chances eating seafood from a state that is completely land-locked. :) But it sure was fun to visit and get our pirate on!

Take me to your leader
Pedis and a glass of wine - all before noon!
Waiting my turn for a pedi
Ta da! The finished product!

Walking around downtown we ran into Ms. Rodeo South Dakota so I stopped to chat and snap a pic with a local celebrity (she was just on her way to get ready for an art showing at a local western gallery)
The sweetest Irish woman you'll ever meet! Owns a great little Irish boutique in downtown Rapid - stop by if you're ever in town!
Jessica welcomes us to the famous Art Alley
My attempt at the sexy wall-lean.
Fail.
Even though it was so cold I could barely operate my camera, Art Alley was still incredible. I could have easily spent another hour there, but hypothermia was setting in so I figured it'd be best to get to warmer ground.
Aaaargh matey! Dinnertime at Pirate's Table

Sissie show me your best pirate face
Argh! I'll be getting ya with me hook!
Yo ho! Yo ho!
Directly translates to "Yo Shawna! Yo Shawna!"
Bazinga! Got ya Shawna! :)
Swab the deck! Lift the sails!
Not sure what sort of pirate-term this is referring to, but it was on the wall outside the bathroom. 1 word: awesome!
Shawna getting attacked by her beloved Molly
Dominating Shawna at leg wars - in the 7+ years we've been having these she's never won, and yet she keeps coming back for more?
"See what happened was....."
I'm not at liberty to finish the story, but I can promise you it's a good one!
Trying to catch my breath after Shawna's incredibly awkward yet hysterical story. Notice the empty wine glasses on the coffee table...
