Uno!

Well it happened. Natalie went and turned a year old right under our noses. One minute we are holding our brand new baby girl in our arms, thanking God that she's here and healthy. Next thing we know she's running across the floor screaming for an apple and pulling Big Sister's hair.
How is it that a year has passed? It hardly seems possible that we have a years-worth of memories made. If the last 365 days is any indication of what the next 365 days are going to be like, we're ready and excited!
Happy first birthday to our little Spunky! Daddy, Mommy and Big Sister love you so much. You've brought such joy (and noise!) to our lives. You're absolutely perfect!
PS If you were hoping for more of a "Life as Natalie at 1 year" post, that will come later after her 1-year well-child check-up :)

(You'll notice we don't have a single picture of her naked, fresh and new. Thankfully our nursing staff was too focused on saving her life (and mine too!) to snap a picture. So as much as I'd love to have some of those pictures, I'm more thankful to have her!)
